Commissioner Dimitrov has been part of Bulgarian Cybercrime Unit at the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime, Bulgarian Ministry of Interior for over 11 years, and since October 2020 he has been the head of the department.

He has participated in dozens of specialized police operations to counter a wide range of computer and computer-related crimes at home and abroad.

He has completed training courses on combating cybercrime in the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Israel and others. Regularly interacts with the FBI, Europol and other international law enforcement organizations to investigate and detect cybercrime.

More than 17 years service at the Bulgarian police forces.
